SEND Provision

Welcome to our SEND Provision

As the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENDCos), we are proud to lead a dedicated team committed to ensuring that every student feels supported, valued and able to succeed. Together, we work closely with students, families, staff and external professionals to remove barriers to learning and help every young person thrive.

At Orleans Park, we believe that all young people should be able to participate fully in school life. We work to remove barriers to learning so that students with special educational needs and disabilities can access a broad and ambitious curriculum, engage confidently in assessments and examinations, and enjoy the wide range of social, extracurricular and sporting opportunities our school offers. Through this, we aim to help every student develop a strong sense of belonging, achieve their potential and thrive.

Within the Learning Support Department, our focus is on improving outcomes, promoting wellbeing and fostering independence. We identify students' needs at the earliest opportunity and provide tailored support that is regularly reviewed. By working closely with families, staff and external professionals, we strive to ensure the best possible provision and outcomes for every student.

We collaborate with teachers and support staff across the school to make learning, and all aspects of school life, inclusive and accessible. Equally important is the work we do alongside our students themselves: building confidence, developing effective learning strategies, and encouraging them to become resilient, self-assured and increasingly independent learners.

Our aim is for every student to feel that they belong, to achieve their full potential, and to leave Orleans Park well prepared for the next stage of their education and future life.

Below you will find our SEND Hub, designed to help you easily navigate and explore the full range of SEND provision available at Orleans Park School.
