Our aim is to ensure you are given the support and confidence required to conduct a personal investigation into a topic, theme, concept of your choice. This will involve creative ideas development, problem-solving, risk taking, perseverance, contextual interpretation, visual communication and self expression. Photography allows you to be introduced to a variety of experiences that explore a range of photographic media, techniques and processes. You will explore relevant images, artefacts and resources relating to a range of art, craft and design, from the past and from recent times, including European and non-European examples, both traditional and new technologies. Students will have the opportunity to visit museums, galleries and exhibitions, take residential trips abroad, and be part of technical workshops. |
