The Orleans Park Pledges

During Key Stage 3, we have pledges which are designed to ensure that every student engages in a rich and diverse range of character-building activities, both within the school environment and beyond. These opportunities are carefully crafted to support personal growth, encourage curiosity, and enhance each student’s overall learning experience.

Through participation in the pledges, students are introduced to a wide variety of new and exciting experiences. These activities are not only enjoyable but also play a crucial role in developing confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. By taking part, students feel a stronger sense of belonging and connection to their school community, helping them to thrive socially as well as academically.

The pledges also equip students with essential life skills that extend far beyond the classroom. From teamwork and problem-solving to leadership and communication, these experiences provide a solid foundation for future success. They prepare students for the next stage of their education, as well as for an exciting and fulfilling career, by nurturing ambition, independence, and a growth mindset.
