Why have Pledges?

The Orleans Park pledges at Key Stage 3, ensure that students are involved in a wide range of character building activities in school and outside school that enhance their learning and development.

The wide variety of new and exciting experiences on offer increases self-esteem , raises confidence and provides students with a sense of community.

Students gain valuable life experiences and skills to help them progress to further study and an exciting career, putting them on a pathway to success.

Above all, pledges help students to have a more valuable and enjoyable experience at school.
