Dear Students

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you as you become part of our vibrant community here at Orleans Park School. Your journey from primary school to secondary education marks an exciting transition, and I am eager to share in your enthusiasm as you embark on this new chapter.

I understand that starting at a new school can be both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. Please know that we are here to support you every step of the way, ensuring that you feel confident and excited about joining us in September.

I will be your Headteacher, and I will ensure that you feel safe, happy and achieve the best you can. It is my aim to ensure you leave here at the end of Year 13 successful, confident and ready to face the next stage in your career. We aim to develop every student to be responsible citizens and leave here having contributed to our community in a generous and productive way. 

You will do well here at Orleans Park School and you will make great friends and be happy. Your teachers are lovely and very experienced and will guide you always on your journey, no matter what your starting points.

We value everyone’s contribution to our community and encourage all students in Year 7 to achieve their pledges and actively get involved in the life of the school beyond the curriculum. There is so much to get involved in at lunchtimes and after school. The more you throw yourself into the life of the school, the more friends you will make and skills you will develop. 

Please do take the time to read through all the transition information that we have on our website. I will be meeting with your families before September and will be seeing you all on our planned transition days.
